How do I register? Do I have to pay any registration fee?
Registration is free, but mandatory. A simple form needs to be
filled and submitted.

What are the benefits of registration?
By registering once, the details of the client are entered into the database and stored. A registration code is sent via email to the registered person. All correspondence has to be done using this registration code only.
I have registered on the website and have also received the registration code by email. Now what is the next step if I want to obtain a legal remedy online?
Congratulations on registering at www.legalight.com. You are now registered on our database. You may send in your query by clicking on "send a query" link present on the left margin of the homepage. You will be directed to a different web page. A simple form will appear. Fill in the details and submit the form. By submitting the form, you will be directed to the "make payment" web page. You are required to make payment as per your nationality. You will receive an answer to your query within 48 working hours.
I have a query but do not wish to make online payment or send in my query in electronic form. What alternative methods can I employ?
You may contact the legal panel directly. Click on the "contact" us option. Our contact details are listed. You may contact us in person or over the telephone and we will allocate one member of the legal panel to you.
You may also click on "engage a counsel" option on the homepage. However, once you engage a counsel through this option, Legalight Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is automatically absolved of all responsibility.
Do I have to make payment compulsorily?
Yes. Once you have submitted your query, it is imperative that you make payment. If you don’t, then your query will not be processed and forwarded to the legal panel.

On registration, is there any implied agreement formed between the client and the company?
No. Legalight Solutions Pvt. Ltd. works on an "as-in" basis.
There is no binding relationship, legal or otherwise, between the client and the company.
Is there any option for a refund?
No. The payment is made after you submit the query. Since your query reaches us immediately and is forwarded to the legal panel, the refund cannot be made.

Does Legalight Solutions India Pvt. Ltd provide any assistance to financially unsound people?
Legalight Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. provides assistance to the underprivileged in two forms. In the first way, if the annual income of a person is below Rs.36000/- then he will be provided with free legal advice and legal assistance. Proof of income will have to be provided by the person seeking such benefit. In the second way, assistance is provided at the instance of the collaboration between the company and Vidhi Sanchalan, a public charitable trust, which renders legal advice for free. There are certain terms and conditions for a client to be eligible for this benefit. Please contact the offices of the Company the details of which are listed under "contact us" on the homepage.
What are the legal provisions regarding wills?
Will means the legal declaration of the intention of a testator with respect to his property, which he desires to take effect after his death. (Area of Practice - Law of Wills)

Does a company have to pay compensation for accident that occurs due to workman's negligence in a factory?
If personal injury is caused to a workman by accident arising out of and in the course of his employment, his employer shall be liable to pay compensations:
Provided that the employer shall not be so liable:
In respect of any injury which does not result in the total or partial disablement of the workman for a period exceeding three days;
In respect of any injury, riot resulting in death caused by an accident, which is directly attributable to:
the workman having been at the time thereof under the influence of drink or drugs;
or
The willful disobedience of the workman to an order expressly framed, for the purpose of securing the safety of workman; or
